PRIVACY- AND COOKIEPOLICY

By using diecast-shoppen.com you accept the use of cookies, and you accept that we process your personal information according to our Privacy- and Cookiepolicy which can be found in our separate section here.

In short;

Personal information
Diecast-shoppen needs certain personal information from you in order for us to do businees with you.
We only collect the personal information that are needed in order to proces your order, i.e.;
Your full name, your full address, and your e-mail address (and phone number if you enter this, it is optional).

These information are saved electronically for five years according to Danish Accounting law.
Similary information regarding your Orders/Invoices are saved electronically for five years according to Danish Accounting law.

We do not have access to nor do we store any information regarding your payment options (credit card numbers, etc.)

Who do we pass on your personal information to?
Your personal information is passed on automatically to;
- The company OnPay who operates the solution for online payment.
The information is purely passed on to OnPay for their transaction of your payment.

- Our shippingpartner for shipping the goods to your country, either GLS, DAO or PostNord.
The information is purely passed on to them for their service of sending the goods to you.

Our business partners mentioned above purely uses your personal information on behalf of diecast-shoppen.com.
They are not entitled to use your personal data for their own benefit.
No personal information will be sold, nor will it be shared with any thirdparty compaines.

In addition to the above mentioned information we also collect and store the IP-address from which any purchase is made.
Normally we do not use information for anything but it can be used by the Danish Police on the suspicion of fake orders, misuse of stolen credit cards or similar.
Any suspicious behavior will be reported to the police.


Cookies
Diecast-shoppen uses what are called ”cookies” which is a small textfile that are saved on your device (PC, mobile, tablet, etc.).
The purpose of the "cookies" is to recognize you, remember your settings (currency, etc.) and to help you control/save the content of your shopping basket.
The "cookies" does not contain any harmfull code.


PAYMENT

Diecast-shoppen accept online payments using VISA-Dankort, all VISA debit/credit cards and all Mastercard debit/credit cards.

Our online payment solution is developed and operated by OnPay who also operates many such solutions across numerous websites.
The payment solution is fully certified (PCI-DSS), and uses a certified paymentserver which encrypts all credit card information using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means your information is kept safe, and we at diecast-shoppen do not have access to your credit card information.

All prices listed on the webshop is given in EUR (Euros) or in DKK (Danish Krone) depending on your selection on the front page of the webshop.

We do not charge a credit card fee when paying online with your credit card.
An additional transaction fee might be added by your own bank, if you are paying in another currency than what your bank account is.

When placing an order on the webshop your order will only be completed in the very last step of the checkout procedure after filling out your payment information in the OnPay payment window and clicking "Complete payment".
Before reaching this last step you are able to abort the checkout procedure at any given time, and your order will be cancelled.

Shortly after completing your order you will receive an e-mail containing your Order Confirmation - it will be send to the e-mail address given during the checkout procedure.
A copy of these Terms and Conditions, and a Withdrawal Form is also attached to the e-mail containing your Order Confirmation.

What happens next depends on which type of order you have completed;

Order containing stock items only:
Once your order is processed and ready for shipment you will receive an e-mail containing your invoice and an e-mail containing your shipping information (track & trace).

Only when you receive the e-mail containing your invoice you may consider your order being confirmed and processed.
The payment for your order will be withdrawn from your account once the shipment leaves our warehouse.

Order containing 'Pre-Order' items;
Once your order is processed you will receive an e-mail containing your invoice.
Only when you receive this e-mail you may consider your order being confirmed and processed but with reservation for the failure of our distributor(s) to supply the requested 'Pre-Order' item due to e.g. shortage of material for production, too few/too many orders, etc.
In that unlikely event you will get a full refund for your 'Pre-Order' item.

When your order contain 'Pre-Order' items the payment for your order will be withdrawn from your account prior to the delivery of your order.
This is due to the fact that many 'Pre-Order' items are highly sought after, and would otherwise quickly sellout if not reserved in advance at the distributor/manufacturer.

Once your 'Pre-Order' items are received in our warehouse, and once your order is ready for shipment, you will receive an e-mail containing your shipping information (track & trace).

Order which make use of our "Box of Cars" service;
Once your order is processed and ready to be placed in your personal storage box at our warehosue, you will receive an e-mail containing your invoice.
Only when you receive this e-mail you may consider your order being confirmed and processed.

When you use our "Box of Cars" service the payment for your order will be withdrawn from your account once we place your ordered items in your personal storage box at our warehouse.


We reserve the right to cancel any order should any technical or human mistake have led to incorrect prices on our webshop.
This is valid should the prices be
considerably lower than what is to be expected for such products.
 

DELIVERY

Diecast-shoppen aims to send out packages two times a week using our shippingpartners GLS, DAO or PostNord depending on the shipping destination.

Delivery times variy from country to country but it is usually between 2-8 working days.
The shipping cost is calculated during the checkout procedure and is based on the total weight of your order, and the delivery country.

Damaged shipment/items upon delivery
We will do our best to protect your items when shipping them to you.
Sometimes damages can occur during the transport and in that case we will try to solve the issue as fast as possible.

Pickup Point delivery:
Prior to receiving and signing for the package at the Pickup Point you must check the package for any visual damage.
If the package shows clear and/or significent signs of damage you should refuse to receive/sign for it stating that it is due to the damage.
If this is the case, please send an e-mail to hello@diecast-shoppen.com informing about the issue, and if possible, attach some photoes of the damaged package.

Please note:
We will not be able to assist you, and you can not make a claim about damaged goods, if you accept/sign for a visually damaged package at the Pickup Point.

Home delivery:
If your delivered package shows clear and/or significent signs of damage you should inform us immediately by sending an e-mail to hello@diecast-shoppen.com - remember to include your Order Number, and attach several photos of the damage.
We will then contact the shipping company to sort out the issue.
 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

As a consumer within the EU you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days and have the right for a full return, for any reason and without a justification - even if you simply changed your mind.
This "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods, or in the case of multiple goods ordered in one order and delivered separately, the day on which you acquires physical possession of the last good.

How to cancel your order
Before the "cooling off" period expires (14 days) you must inform us that you would like to cancel your order.
You may inform us by sending an e-mail to hello@diecast-shoppen.com, or use the Withdrawal Form sent to you, and you should make an unequivocal statement setting out your decision to cancel the order.

You can not cancel your order simply by refusing to receive it, or by sending it back to us without notifying us first.

Returning your order
You must return your order to us without undue delay and not later than 14 days after you informed us that you will exercise your right of withdrawal.

You will bear the cost of returning the order to us and you are responsible for the proper packing for the order.
Remember to add a copy of your invoice and the filled-out Withdrawal Form in the shipment.

Since you are responsible for any damages to the shipment during transport, remember to get a receipt from your shipping company as they properbly have an insurance to cover for such damages - if you have selected/paided for it.

Condition of the goods when returning them
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Depending on the condition of the goods when we receive it at our warehouse, you might only be getting a refund of your initial shipping costs, if the goods are damaged beyond repair, if the original packing is torn or missing, or if manufacturer seals have been broken.

Getting a refund
If you use your Right of Withdrawal you are entitled to a full refund for your order except if you expressly opted for a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us (e.g. by using express delivery or other).

You will receive your refund without undue delay and not later than 14 days after you informed us that you will exercise your right of withdrawal.
However we reserve our right to delay the refund until we have received the shipment at our warehouse, or evidence from you that you have send it to us (copy of receipt from shipping company).

The refund will be make to the same credit card for which the order was paid.

If any of the items in your order has diminished in value we will deduct this from your refund.

GUARANTEES FOR FAULTY GOODS

When shopping at diecast-shoppen.com you have a 2-year guarantee should any of the items turn out to be faulty, not look or work as advertised.

You must inform us without undue delay after you discover the faulty goods, and you should send an e-mail to hello@diecast-shoppen.com prior to sending your faulty goods back to us.

If your complaint is justified you will either have the goods repaired or replaced (free of charge), get a price-reduction or a full refund if it is not possible to repair or replace the goods. Depending on the specific case.
The guarantee does not cover any fault/damage to the goods if this is caused by mishandling of the goods.

We will refund your reasonable shipping charges (not express shipping, etc.) in case you return any faulty goods to us - remember to provide a copy of the receipt from the shipping company.

The goods must be proper packed to protect from further damage.
Since you are responsible for any damages to the shipment during transport, remember to get a receipt from your shipping company as they properbly have an insurance to cover for such damages - if you have selected/paided for it.

When returning the goods to us you must include a detailed description of what is wrong with the goods.

Complaints?
If we (diecast-shoppen and you) can not come to an agreement regarding your 'Right of Withdrawal', your 'Guarantee for faulty goods' or any other matter you can make a formal complaint at the "European Commission Online Dispute Resolution".
